メタボ、高血圧対策に紅麹

　この４月から始まったメタボリック診察。具体的なメタボリックシンドローム診断基準は、 ウエスト周囲径が男性85cm 以上、女性90cm 以上と いうのが必須条件で、加えて1）中性脂肪150 mg/dL 以上、または HDL コレステロール 40 mg/dL 未満、2)上の収縮期血圧 130 mmHg 以上 または下の拡張期血圧 85 mmHg 以上、3)空腹 時血糖 110 mg/dL以上 。この3項目のうち、2項目以 上該当する人を、メタボリックシンドロームと言う。

　なにしろ、高血圧で悩んでいる身とすれば心配になるんですが、よく調べて見るとウエスト78cmだからとりあえずセーフです。メタボではなく、たんなる高血圧のようです。
　とはいえこの高血圧、尋常じゃありません。とにかく毎朝ビクビクしながら手首測定式血圧計で測っています。

　どうするかというと、まず、深呼吸をします。それも息を吸う前に吐いたほうがいいかと息を吐ききってから、息を深く吸います。「息を深く」というのは、腰を伸ばすようにして深く呼吸してタイミングを合わせてクンバク（息を止める）して測定ボタンを押します。こうしないと、エラー表示が出たり、機械が再測定のために二度加圧してしまうんです。こうなるとわたしの場合、上が170を軽く越してしまいます。

　そして、体の緊張を溶くように止めた息をフッと吐いて、下腹に力を入れるように下丹田に注意を集中して息を吐ききります。
　これだけ苦労してようやく170、180だった血圧がようやく160になりました。
そして、驚いたのは「紅麹」の錠剤です。

　この頑固だった高血圧が、150台の下に下がりました。147だったこともあります。

　これをくれた紅麹本舗の舞田さんに聞いたところ「グンゼの紅麹では、はっきり高血圧にいいと書いていますよ」とのこと。コレステロールの再吸収阻害剤として高コレステロール対策にいいとは知っていましたが、高血圧にもいいとは。なんでも「ギャバの成分が入っています」とのこと。

　恐るべし紅麹。いや、紅麹さま感謝、感謝です。
